Outline
The PEA series WACOH-TECH is a 3-axis acceleration sensor using piezoceramic for the detection element. With respect to acceleration A applied from all directions to the sensor, acceleration components (Ax, Ay, Az) in 3-axis directions are output.
From these signals, the magnitude and direction of acceleration can be obtained.
The sensor is structurally designed so that acceleration in the 3-axis directions can be simultaneously detected by one element. This has realized a compact, lightweight, and low-priced sensor. Also, it is remarkably easy to handle because the output is made by an operational amplifier.
It can be used in across wide range of industrial fields, such as vehicles, robots, machine tools, and games.
